Go Broncos!

And I love that you love the first poem by Ferlinghetti. It is a favorite, & so inspiring to think about writing a line like 'the little airplanes of the heart/with their brave little propellers'.Linda Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14983144542632353870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7724394291330902141.post-68715218867187312112012-01-13T23:37:11.513-07:002012-01-13T23:37:11.513-07:00So many lovely books nominated for Cybils! I love your word for the new year, "savor." And I understand the family sentiments, as my oldest is about to turn 20 and my youngest will graduate from high school next year. We must savor the moments and days, indeed.Robyn Hood Blackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07279289715664168026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7724394291330902141.post-24008594710268481872012-01-13T12:59:25.721-07:002012-01-13T12:59:25.721-07:00It's such a fun book. (I was actually the one who nominated it for the Cybils.) I think my favorite poem is the one about toes. The idea of the little girl missing her toes because she doesn't see them all Winter really stuck with me. I just love the way Gerstein finds the extraordinary in the ordinary!Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14862498395141185996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7724394291330902141.post-31986551772790811112012-01-13T07:21:34.724-07:002012-01-13T07:21:34.724-07:00Would it be terrible to have a hotdog for brekkie?...Would it be terrible to have a hotdog for brekkie?!
