Regardless of the reasons, a wedding like that seems like a great way to renew a bond a couple. I was raised Catholic and now attend a Lutheran church. I'm a bit baffled that the marriage wouldn't be recognized. I didn't know that. Interesting.Danahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18011661904689079860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7724394291330902141.post-17288143738563801212012-03-11T17:49:51.717-06:002012-03-11T17:49:51.717-06:00The fact that they have stuck together through all...The fact that they have stuck together through all the ups & downs, & the downs sound tough as you've described, is quite a love story. I see that you don't understand their new beliefs but you're going to support them in their celebration. That's a very good thing. I hope you've had a wonderful day, Carol.Linda Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14983144542632353870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7724394291330902141.post-29798281280110941542012-03-11T15:05:43.278-06:002012-03-11T15:05:43.278-06:00What a wonderful love story. I love how you don't have to completely understand or even agree with the day to be excited to be sharing in it. And I've often thought how neat it would be to have a day to celebrate marriage, now that I have children. Not necessarily a wedding, but a way to show my children that I am committed to their father. Maybe this will be just that for your sister's children.Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02849551351155519101noreply@blogger.com
